You have 20+ years of experience.

You’ve led teams, driven results, and weathered every kind of corporate storm.

 And yet…

Your job search journey gives the deafening not hearing back at all, “we’re going in a different direction” or "blah, blah, blah."

You're applying for jobs you could do in your sleep—and still hear crickets.

You keep applying because giving up is not an option.

You keep applying because you have a family to support.

Let me be clear:

🎯 If you're of a particular age, this rejection isn’t about skill. It’s about bias

 and it’s called Ageism.

In today’s job market, it’s the elephant before you even get into the room.

Some Employers view seasoned professionals as “high salary.”

But here’s the truth:

 🧠 Experience brings insight.

🛠️ Tenure brings wisdom and a plethora of problem-solving skills.

 💬 Emotional intelligence brings leadership.

To the hiring managers and Recruiters:

➡️ Don’t overlook the candidate with tenure and a stacked résumé.

➡️ Don’t assume they can’t adapt, innovate, or thrive in your company's world.

To the job seekers facing this unfair bias:

 ✔️ Stay visible.

 ✔️ Stay showcasing your value.

There’s power in every year you bring to the table

To my clients who hire the Talent I present-no matter their Age, I appreciate you! Gen Xers are Talent too!
